“ATTENTION: Executive Customer Relations, Legal, and Compliance Departments I am writing to demand the immediate escalation and resolution of my suspended Cash App account and the unlawful withholding of my funds, tracked under Case #264841097. I have been a loyal, long-term Cash App user for years, with a spotless account history spanning only three residential addresses. Six days ago, I attempted to update my address to comply with your standard verification requirements. For simply following your instructions, your automated systems wrongfully suspended my account and locked me out of $4,000 in critical funds. Despite submitting clear, valid photographic identification multiple times, frontline support has repeatedly closed my support tickets (including tickets CCN-13267410 and CCN-13274745) with automated, canned responses, refusing to conduct a proper human review. This is no longer a customer service inconvenience—it is an imminent threat to my health, safety, and housing: Medical Emergency: Because my funds are entirely inaccessible, I have already gone two days without food. More critically, tomorrow I will completely run out of my prescribed seizure medication. I suffer from severe grand mal seizures that result in physical injury, and withholding my funds directly prevents me from obtaining this life-saving medication. Housing and Property: Your unauthorized freeze on my money has placed me on the verge of losing my residence and all my personal property. This arbitrary withholding of funds due to a routine address update is unacceptable and exposes Cash App and its parent company, Block, Inc., to severe legal and regulatory liability. Demand for Immediate Action: I demand that a senior escalation specialist or compliance officer immediately review Case #264841097, verify my submitted identification, lift the suspension on my account, and restore full access to my funds today. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will escalate this formal notice, along with copies of my medical documentation and support logs, directly to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Arkansas Attorney General, and legal counsel. I expect a prompt resolution today. Sincerely, Frederick Kinney”
