“For two consecutive years, we have faced the same issue: Zoom charges us for the subscription while making it impossible to cancel. When we try, the cancellation button is blocked, and we are forced to fill out a pointless form that we have already submitted several times without ever receiving a reply. Every year it’s the same trick: they ignore the requests and charge again, making the cancellation process deliberately impossible. Today I reached out to an agent via chat, and instead of listening, they simply copied and pasted the terms and conditions, then closed the chat without addressing my issue. This is not just terrible customer service it is an abusive and deceptive practice. Zoom is taking advantage of its users with tactics that feel like outright fraud. 🚫”

“As a paid user, you can only name your meeting room when you are on second tier. Its artificial. No response on feedback, Zoom community has the same questions I had unanswered. Data grab on third party implementation of calendar, read all your contacts. Will give error message if untoggled and only give rights to whats needed. This is a liability for anybody who wants privacy for personal or professional services (ex. coaching, therapy). Out of touch with customers needs, but has plenty of Ai functions instead. Still better than many others, but it could be excellent if it wanted to and without additional costs on the business side.”

“Disappointed. If you’re looking for a phone service for your business but want to be able to talk to someone when you have cautions on the phone, keep looking! After 17 years with Vonage, I spend a lot of time looking for a phone service for my business and chose Zoom after two weeks of research. My main complaint at Vonage was no one to talk to. So when I got to talk to a sales person at Zoom, I was quite thrilled. I was sold, activated, and told I would get an email from an implementation team to help me set up my service. Three days later no email. So I set up mostly everything myself, port my own numbers from Vonage, but have more difficulty porting toll free numbers because they are done on paper, with a signature, and have a different process. The system kept giving me errors. So I press the button need help. A virtual Agent comes on and says, how can I help you. I explain, then she sends me the instructions I have been reading over and over again for three hours. I say, no, I have followed those to the letter, and still I am getting an error. So she says okay, you should talk to someone at on the support team, but no number. I ask, how do I get a hold of them. Virtual agent says, first you have to tell me your problem. So I say, we just talked about that. She says no you have to click the above buttons to tell me. So I click support, then phone, then porting, then some other questions, finally, live person on chat. But chat, the whole reason I left Vonage. This person tells me, oh, here are the instructions. I say no, I have done that. Now, here I am back at square one. Then he builds me a tick, I get a email, looks like you already submitted your port, you can reference that submission, end of email. No help. Email my sales rep, out of town, email the person taking over for her, she emails me the instructions. You have to be kidding me. Morale to the story, go with a big carrier if you want real help. ATT, Frontier, or someone that cost you a lot of money. I only needed support from Vonage once in 17 years, I paid well over 100 dollars a month, now I am paying 50, so things are better, but customer service only exists in big companies and even then it is slim. But you can always call 800-CALL-ATT and get someone. So three stars for Zoom.”

“Time zone with zoom looks like it was developed with a grade 2. The layout is the worst you can imagine. When you pick your time zone, start adding your attendees. The time zone defaults back to your location. Support never seems to understand this and very reluctant to listen to their customers that they have a serious problem. Just put in simple words Zoom does not really offer support just tickets and tickets.”

“Platform got more complex but customer service and technical support team used to be better than it is today. Now the customer service appears to all have been outsourced to third world countries… who cannot even call you back after you waited for over an hour and then “accidentally” your line got disconnected… 😅🥲”

“Customer support with Zoom has been pretty nonexistent. I set up a Zoom Phone VoIP system and have been dealing with issues with SMS campaign verification after porting my business phone number. Unfortunately, communication and support from Zoom have been extremely disappointing. I’ve tried reaching out through email, phone, and chat support, but I still haven’t received meaningful assistance or a resolution. It has now been months without this issue being resolved. The phone system itself has potential, but the lack of responsive customer support and follow-through has made the experience incredibly frustrating. For a business relying on its phone system, having an issue remain unresolved for months is unacceptable.”
